ArtPrize is an annual open art competition hosted in Grand Rapids, MI. For the seventh year of the event, the city was divided into seven districts, each with a unique set of venues and artworks. Our design for the event poster and identity celebrated color and neighborhood. We developed seven exuberant color palettes that, when applied to signage and wayfinding, took visitors on a color tour of the city. Over the course of 19 days more than 400,000 people visited ArtPrize Seven.
